The Winterfest Stroll is an evening walk around the lighted and decorated Coan Lake historical area of Heritage Park in Taylor. Along the route families meet carolers and themed characters, visit a 'Holiday Barn' at the petting farm, and take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, which is included in the ticket. It runs six nights, December 18-23, 2026, with timed reservations tentatively every half hour from 6:00 p.m. to a final slot at 8:30 p.m. Ticket packages differ for resident adults, resident children and non-residents, a Resident Family Pack gives a discount, and children under 2 are free. The city says tickets and reservations go on sale in November. Entrance, exit and parking are at the Heritage Park Petting Farm. Wear boots and warm layers; this is an outdoor walk.
