Little Helpers of Seven Ponds is a free monthly volunteer program built for preschoolers and their caregivers. In the November session, Seed Planting, children ages 3 to 5 get their hands dirty planting seeds that the group collected around the nature center earlier in the fall, covering them up and giving them water and some kind words to help them grow. Each session also includes a plant-themed story and a game, and it is a relaxed way for young nature lovers to meet other families. The session runs Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Seven Ponds Nature Center near Dryden. The program is designed only for children 3 to 5 with a caregiver, and the center asks families to make other arrangements for siblings outside that age range. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
