About this adventure

Santa flies in to the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Airport aboard the museum's vintage PT-17 Stearman biplane, and families watch him taxi along the ramp before he heads into the hangar. Ticket holders then share a full breakfast with him from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by photos with Santa and holiday-themed activities until 2 p.m. Children who like airplanes get the bonus of the museum's hangars of historic aircraft; the Heritage Hangar is reserved for the breakfast until 11 a.m., while the Waltrip Hangar and other exhibits stay open all day. The event is sponsored by South Houston Moms and Houston Event Planning. The plane arrival depends on the weather and times may change.
