About this adventure
A family fun run that gives Halloween costumes one more outing: League City Parks & Recreation invites runners and walkers to wear their costumes for a 5K at Hometown Heroes Park on the Sunday after Halloween. The city pitches it as an event to do with family and friends, so strollers and kids who walk part of the way fit the spirit. The event window is two hours late in the morning. Registration is through the city's recreation portal; the posted fee is for residents, and children 2 and under are free. Pumpkin Palooza is held at the same park that afternoon, so families can combine the two.
