Organizer
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department — Stephen F. Austin State Park

An after-dark stroll at Stephen F. Austin State Park along the Sycamore Trail meadow, with chances for moon and star gazing in one of the park's quiet open areas. The short walk runs from 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 14. Attendance is limited, so the park asks everyone to fill in its registration form ahead of time and to reserve a day-use pass online; without a reserved pass you need exact change or a State Parks Pass for the self-pay envelope at park headquarters. Meet at the RV Loop restrooms and bring a flashlight with a red light, binoculars, water, sturdy shoes and insect spray. Included with daily entrance: adults $5, children 12 and under free.
