Deer Park Parks & Recreation's fourth annual Halloween-week night walk along the scenic trail of the Deer Park Nature Preserve. Families stroll the trail after dark and stop at stations along the way to collect treats and Mad Libs-style prompts, filling in the blanks to complete 'Roscoe's frightful adventure story' as they go — with the preserve's native wildlife out in the shadows. Halloween costumes are welcome. The hike runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, October 26, and it is free. Questions go to the parks department at 281-478-2059.
