About this adventure
Homeschool families spend a day exploring the Eiteljorg Museum's collections of Native American and Western art with hands-on activities built around its galleries and exhibitions. This session features artist-in-residence Susan Locke Charlesworth (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma), an award-winning basket weaver who began weaving in 2005 to connect with her heritage; she shares her baskets and offers hands-on experiences that show students the creative process behind them. Families can come and go between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Members attend free; nonmember tickets are $5, and registration is through the museum's event page.
