About this adventure
A docent-led 'Beaches 101' walk at the GTM Research Reserve that the reserve says the entire family will enjoy. It starts at the Visitor Center with a look at the reserve's seashore habitats, then heads to the beach to learn about the animals that live there, seashells, and where the sand comes from. The walk is about half a mile round trip. Reservations required; parking at the Visitor Center is free.
