About this adventure
The Jacksonville Symphony screens the 1990 holiday comedy Home Alone on a big screen while the orchestra plays John Williams' score live, part of the Symphonic Night at the Movies series. Children who know the film will recognize the music from Kevin's battle with the burglars and the Christmas choral pieces, and it is an easy first orchestra concert for kids who might not sit through a classical program. The Symphony suggests its film concerts for families with children aged 10 and up. Two performances, the weekend before Thanksgiving.
