About this adventure

A privately run botanical garden and woodland preserve off Millcoe Road in the Arlington area, with a network of marked trails, benches along each trail, picnic tables near the entrance and a paved, accessible Lake Loop trail with grade signs at the trailhead. It is a quiet place for a family nature walk: balls, frisbees, bikes and scooters are not allowed on the grounds, visitors stay on trails and out of the water, and wildlife (including gopher tortoises and alligators) must not be fed. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, at one adult per three minors. Admission is paid at the welcome kiosk after parking, or ahead online.
