About this adventure

A working lighthouse and maritime museum on Anastasia Island. General admission includes climbing the tower for the view over St. Augustine, the restored Lightkeepers' House, the Wrecked! exhibit of shipwreck finds from the American Revolution, the Maritime Education Center with historic ship models, a video view from the top and a working artifact conservation lab, plus the Maritime Hammock nature trails, where kids can look for animals. Children must be at least 44 inches tall and climb under their own power to go up the tower; carrying children is not allowed, so families with smaller children can still visit the grounds, house and museum. Separate guided tours include a family-friendly ghost tour of the keepers' house and grounds.
