Jacksonville Beach's Halloween evening on the oceanfront. From 5 pm local businesses line up for a Trunk or Treat at Latham Plaza and the Seawalk Pavilion, handing out candy and treats to children in costume. At 7:15 pm the city's Moonlight Movies series screens Disney's The Haunted Mansion (2003), a family comedy, on the lawn. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and plan on staying for the film after trick-or-treating. Everything is free. The pavilion sits a block from the beach, so expect an ocean breeze after dark and bring a layer.
