Teen Drop-In Art Making is a casual monthly after-school studio for teenagers at the Nelson-Atkins. Members of the museum's Teen Council set a theme and lead projects, but teens are also free to work on whatever they like. General art supplies are provided, and participants may bring their own materials. Sessions run for two hours on a Thursday afternoon in Classroom 3, are free, and need no registration, so teens can come straight from school and stay as long as they want.
