Organizer

Opportunity Village

Opportunity Village's annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run fills the streets around its Magical Forest campus with runners and walkers in Santa suits. Participants choose a 5K or a 1-mile walk, and the course is stroller, wheelchair, walker and pet friendly, which makes the 1-mile option an easy holiday outing for families with young children. Every paid registration includes a five-piece Santa suit, a finisher medal, race bib and swag bag (while supplies last), and children ages 3 and under are free. Race-day registration, packet pickup and pre-race festivities begin at 12:30 pm, with races starting at 2:30 pm; afterward there is entertainment and food, and the Magical Forest holiday lights attraction opens early at 4 pm for Santa Run participants. Registration is $52.50 from October 1 to November 22 and $57.50 from November 23 to December 5; pets are $10. Packet pickup is also available December 2-4 from noon to 6 pm at the Opportunity Village/CSN parking lot. Proceeds support Opportunity Village's work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
