A BLM ranger leads a family Junior Ranger program at Red Rock Canyon NCA. Each month focuses on one of the seven Leave No Trace principles with a game and a short hike; Junior Rangers earn a monthly badge and, after collecting all seven, a Red Rock Junior Ranger display banner. November: "Be Kind to Other Visitors". December: "trash your trash" with a 1.1-mile easy hike picking up litter (trash grabbers and bags provided). The whole family is welcome.
