About this adventure
The Battleship IOWA crew hosts its annual Halloween STEMebration on Halloween night, a free family evening aboard the historic battleship in the Port of Los Angeles. The museum describes it as a safe and fun family experience on the ship; expect Halloween fun mixed with science, technology and engineering activities in keeping with the STEM name, and a chance to walk the decks of an Iowa-class battleship after dark. It runs from 6 to 10 p.m., so families can drop in for an hour or stay through the evening. Admission is free. Parking is in the lot next to the ship: the first hour is free and each additional hour is $2. Cruise ship traffic can limit parking, and the museum suggests looking for street parking nearby if the lot fills.
