About this adventure
A free scholastic chess tournament for K–12 players at the Scott Rakow Youth Center, held by the City of Miami Beach in memory of Commissioner Mark Samuelian. Players compete in one of three sections — K5 Unrated, Middle/High School Unrated, or Premiere for players rated below 1500 USCF — with trophies for up to seven places in each section. Tables are set out for open play between rounds. Players bring their own lunch and snacks for the day. Pre-registration is required and no one can register at the door.
