About this adventure
Miami Children's Museum opens its seasonal Winter Wonderland: Sock Skating exhibit in the What's New Gallery, where children slide around in their socks among sparkling snowflakes. Opening weekend starts with a ribbon-cutting and continues with snowy hands-on programming, the premiere of the museum Theatre Troupe's original show Building Noise, and Professor Flurry's Lab, where a kooky winter scientist runs "snow-tastic" experiments. Note that on Saturday, November 21, the museum is closed to the public until 3:00 p.m. for its National Adoption Day event; members get an early 9–11 a.m. opening that day.
