About this adventure
CityPlace Doral's fifth annual Día de los Muertos celebration is a free community afternoon at the center's Fountain Plaza. A center-wide procession features folkloric dancers, stilt walkers, mariachis and oversized calavera and Catrina puppets, and the Baila Conmigo Kids youth dance group performs; comedian Rafael Leidenz emcees with a tribute impersonation of Juan Gabriel. Families get free face painting and food samples from CityPlace restaurants, and can browse the "El Mercado" vendor market. The plaza is decorated with sugar skulls, hanging décor and photo spots from October through November 3. The event is free but registration is requested through Eventbrite.
