Each December Santa and his elves walk north along Fort Lauderdale Beach handing out candy canes, starting from Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. It is a brief midday surprise rather than a staged event, so it suits families already at the beach or toddlers who would not sit through a longer show. Bring sun protection, and be at the park at the start time if you want to meet Santa before he moves up the sand.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read in a browser (curl/WebFetch blocked or URL moved). Page says 'Tuesday, December 8 | 12:30 PM' with no year and shows 'Updated on 12/11/2025'. December 8 falls on a Tuesday in 2026 (not 2025), so the date appears updated for 2026, but confirm before publishing.
