About this adventure

Hialeah's annual Santa's Snow Blast brings 50 tons of snow to Milander Park, giving South Florida children a rare chance to play on a mountain of real snow. Kids of all ages come with their parents for snow play plus carnival rides, games, food and live entertainment, making it a full family outing on the first Saturday of December. The city's page gives the date and park but not the hours, whether admission is charged or what the rides cost, so check with the city closer to the day; the Milander Park office number is 305-557-6770. Dress children in clothes that can get wet, since the snow is the main attraction.
