About this adventure
Theater classes for young people led by professional teaching artists, in fall, winter and spring sessions during the school year. The youngest can start with You & Me (ages 3–5 with an adult), a creative-drama class to share with a favorite grown-up. Story Drama (grades K4–1) brings favorite stories to life through setting, plot and character; Playmakers (grades 1–2) uses improvisation to invent characters and stories each week. Grades 3–4 take Scene Study and Musical Theater, and grades 5–12 choose from Acting, Musical Theater, Improvisation, Stage Combat or electives, plus multi-session intensives. Next Steps classes are designed for neurodivergent students, including autistic students who speak few or no words, with small class sizes. Scholarships are available for qualifying families.
