About this adventure

A large county-run zoo on Milwaukee's west side where families can walk among animal buildings and outdoor habitats, including the Aquatic & Reptile Center and the Dairy Complex. Café 1892 is open daily year-round and families may bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks (no glass). Strollers and wagons can be rented on site, and nursing suites are in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place, Dairy Complex and Aquatic & Reptile Center. Rides and activities operate Memorial Day through Labor Day only, and which animals are outdoors varies with the weather. Buying admission online is cheaper than at the gate and lets ticketed guests go straight in.
