About this adventure
A south-side celebration of the community's cultures, art and food, put on jointly by the Bay View, Tippecanoe, Mitchell Street and Zablocki branches. The stage features Browser the Library Lion, the bilingual reggae-soul-cumbia band Pulpa de Guayaba, Indian classical dance from Aparna Dance Studio and the Milwaukee Flyers youth tumbling team. Around the branch there is community art with DK Nutz, henna, makerspace activities and a Cargill Community Kitchen 'foodie passport' tasting tour of sweet and savory dishes from around the world.
