Two-morning MEA-break art camp from ArtStart exploring Diwali traditions. Each day has two sessions: 9-10:30 am Rangoli with artist Swetha Avula (colorful designs on a wooden disc with acrylic paint, mirrors and tea lights) and 10:45 am-12:15 pm Lanterns with artist Tara Fahey (making an Akash Kandil-style sky lantern). Held at Prospect Park United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, just off University Ave near Highway 280. $150 for the two days.
