About this adventure
Excel Aquatics runs Williamson County Parks & Recreation's learn-to-swim classes, including at the Franklin Recreation Complex indoor pool. Classes progress in levels toward competitive swimming: Novice (half-hour, three swimmers max, at least 3 years old) teaches water safety and adaptation; Intermediate (four max) teaches freestyle and backstroke; Advanced (five max) adds butterfly and breaststroke; Expert is a 45-minute mini-practice of 300–500 yards. Private and semi-private half-hour lessons are offered at year-round pools. Families choose a level from the descriptions and register online.
