About this adventure
The Boulevard Bolt is Nashville's long-running Thanksgiving Day run and walk, now in its 33rd year, on a USATF-certified 5-mile course up and down Belle Meade Boulevard. Organized by volunteers from Immanuel Baptist Church, St. George's Episcopal Church and The Temple Congregation Ohabai Sholom, it has grown to more than 7,500 participants, and all proceeds go to help people experiencing homelessness. Competitive runners race, but many families simply walk the course together, which makes it a good holiday tradition for older children and teens who can cover five miles. Strollers, bikes, skates and animals are not allowed on the course for safety. The race starts at 8 am from St. George's Episcopal School on Harding Pike. Register through the race's Race Roster page.
