About this adventure

Nashville's Parthenon is a full-scale replica of the Athenian original, built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, and the centerpiece of Centennial Park. Inside stands a 42-foot re-creation of the statue of Athena, plaster casts of the Parthenon Marbles in the Naos, and the city's art museum, with 63 American paintings from the Cowan collection and rotating exhibits. The museum offers tours, family activities and occasional STEAM Nights that mix science and art. Leave large bags and scooters at home; small cubbies and quarter lockers are available.
