About this adventure
On the day after Thanksgiving, the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring hosts Turkey Day, a DC+ Day of seasonal hands-on activities across the museum. Families follow the clues on a Turkey Day Scavenger Hunt through every corner of the building and win a prize for finishing, add a leaf listing what they are thankful for to the Community Gratitude Tree, and stop at craft stations to make feathered turkey friends to take home. It runs during regular hours, 10 am to 5 pm, and suits toddlers through elementary-age kids who need a fun outing during the long weekend. Turkey Day is included with general admission and free for members.
