About this adventure

Holidaze Mini-Camp is Teatown's environmental day camp for the school winter break, Monday, December 28 through Thursday, December 31, 2026, at its Ossining preserve. Campers learn about winter in nature (where birds go, why trees drop their leaves) by exploring Teatown's habitats, playing games and making crafts, with much of the day outdoors, so children need clothes for long stretches in winter weather. Pre-K and kindergarten Froglets attend 9:00 AM to noon; first and second graders (Owlets) and third to fifth graders (Rangers) stay 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and bring a lunch and snack. Groups are capped at 8 children, only full-session registration is offered, and Pre-K campers must be enrolled in kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year (3-year-olds cannot be accommodated).
