About this adventure
Queens Botanical Garden invites neighbors of all ages to a hands-on community art project in November 2026: each participant makes a one-of-a-kind stepping stone from natural garden materials, adding their own color, texture and story. Sessions run on Wednesday afternoons, November 4, 11 and 18, from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, and on Sunday mornings, November 8 and 15, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. The finished stones will be set in and around the Garden's Fibonacci spiral during a community service day on November 21, turning the individual pieces into one shared pathway, so children can come back later and find the stone they made. The project, part of the Garden's Math in Bloom programming, is supported by the Simon Foundation. Participants are asked to RSVP through the event page.
