Part of NYBG's first Día de los Muertos celebration (Oct 3–Nov 2, 2026), with marigold displays, a community ofrenda, calaveras and a giant flower-adorned Catrina. On Sunday, November 1 at 2 pm the Garden hosts a Día de los Muertos parade; Mascara Viva's giant La Catrina and monarch butterfly puppets appear Oct 31, Nov 1 & 2, 1–5 pm. A related storytime with the Bronx Children's Museum (An Ofrenda for Perro, alebrije making, ages 4–10) is on Oct 31, 2–3 pm.
