About this adventure
The Magic School Bus Live: Lost in the Solar System brings Ms. Frizzle and her class from the classic books and TV series to the Lehman Center stage in the Bronx. On an interplanetary field trip the class explores the atmospheres of Mercury, Venus and Mars, and has to pull together to find its way back across the galaxy — learning as much about teamwork as about the solar system. It is a good first theater outing for children who already know the books, roughly ages 4 to 9, and the science content makes it a natural follow-up to a planetarium visit. The single Sunday performance starts at 3 pm. Tickets for kids 10 and under are $10 when arranged by phone with the box office (718-960-8833); other tickets are sold via Ticketmaster.
