About this adventure
Magic of Lights is a drive-through holiday light show at Holmdel in Monmouth County, running nightly from November 20, 2026 to January 3, 2027. Families stay in their own car and wind slowly along a lit route of LED holiday scenes, characters and digital animations; the organizer's page also flags Santa and ice skating as part of this year's Holmdel show. Because it is one price per carload, it is an easy outing with babies and toddlers in car seats or children in pajamas, and a visit takes well under an hour. Hours are 5–10 pm Sunday to Thursday and 5–11 pm Friday and Saturday. November-only tickets are the cheapest of the season ($22 per standard car online, $30 at the gate) and cannot be used in December; a 'Santa Saver' any-time ticket is discounted until November 19, and weekday (Mon–Thu) tickets cost less than any-day tickets. Limo/party-bus and bus pricing is separate. Buy online through the organizer's Ticketmaster link to save; gate sales start only once the show is open.
