About this adventure
The Riverhead Holiday Light Show returns for its ninth season from November 20 to December 31, 2026, at a new home: Calverton Airport on Grumman Boulevard. It is a drive-through show, so families ride a mile-long route in their own warm car past hundreds of light displays, larger-than-life holiday scenes, tunnels of light and new displays built for this season, with holiday music broadcast over the car radio. The organizers bill it as the largest holiday light show in Suffolk County, and it suits every age, including babies asleep in car seats. Admission is per vehicle for up to eight passengers. A general admission carload ticket is for one chosen date, a flex ticket works on any night the show is open, and a season pass allows one visit per night all season. A Long Island Combo Pass also covers the producer's new Nassau County show at Nassau Coliseum. Buy tickets online before you go.
