About this adventure
UCF Theatre for Young Audiences and the Jeanette M. Gould Traveling Theatre bring a short touring play for children to the East Branch library in Oviedo. In Cheese Louise, photographer Frances snaps the perfect picture every day by saying "cheese" — until a curious, expressive young monster named Louise bursts into his studio. The story is told with slapstick comedy, puppetry and energetic nonverbal acting, so it works for children who are still learning English or who have trouble following dialogue. The performance is designed for ages 5 to 10 and lasts about half an hour on a Saturday morning. Free, no registration required; arrive a few minutes early for a seat.
