After the city's tree lighting on December 4, the six-story Eola Wonderland Christmas tree at Lake Eola Park, covered in about 88,000 animated lights, runs a synchronized light-and-music show every evening into early January. Shows start on the hour from 5:45 PM to 9:45 PM, so families can time a short visit around dinner or bedtime rather than face the crowds of the lighting night itself. The tree stands near E. Washington Street and N. Rosalind Avenue. A holiday stroll of oversized ornaments and lit trees along Magnolia Avenue connects the park with Heritage Square and the Dr. Phillips Center over the same period.
