About this adventure

Kids engineer an amusement park with LEGO Education SPIKE Essentials kits in this hour-long class at the Eatonville Branch Library. Students follow instructions to build rides, program the components to bring the rides to life, and then test and improve them. The class is recommended for ages 6 to 12, and the library lists the required skills as a first-grade reading and writing level plus keyboard and mouse proficiency. Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult or caregiver while in the library; caregivers may join the class if there is space, or otherwise wait within view of the classroom door. It runs on Wednesday, November 4, from 2:15 to 3:15 pm, with eight places, and registration is required (3 of 8 places were taken when the library's feed was read on October 27).
