About this adventure

Orlando Science Center's five-day winter break camp fills the week between Christmas and New Year's with three age tracks. Winter: Frosty Returns, for 3-year-olds and 4-5-year-olds, explores how snowmen are built and what happens where snow does not fall, with snowflakes, the three states of matter and extreme winter weather such as blizzards. Galactic Explorers, for kindergarten to second grade, has campers design a rocket to carry people and materials to the moon, engineer a lander and plan a safe home for scientists in a lunar colony. Science: The Final Frontier, for grades 3-5, covers the solar system and beyond, harnessing the power of the Sun, how humans can live in space and robots that could work on other planets. Camps are full-day and held in classrooms and outdoors at the science center. Booking requires an active Orlando Science Center membership valid through the camp dates.
