Yardley lines the Delaware Canal towpath with jack-o'-lanterns carved by local residents for its Canal-o-ween celebration, and on Sunday, October 25 a Delaware Canal State Park naturalist leads an evening walk to see them. The roughly two-mile round trip follows the towpath into downtown Yardley under the nearly full Hunter's Moon, with the pumpkins lit at sundown and some local history along the way. The walk runs from 6 to 8 pm and starts at the Yardley Park & Ride on Woodside Road. It is free, but pre-registration through the DCNR listing is required. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
