St. Bernadette School in Drexel Hill holds its 18th annual Turkey Trot on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28. Little ones 10 and under start the morning with the 100-yard Dumpling Dash at 8:45 am, the chip-timed single-loop 5K run or walk through a tree-lined neighborhood starts at 9, and a one-mile Family Fun Walk follows at 9:05, all starting and finishing at the school at Bond and Turner Avenues. Fees are $10 for the Dumpling Dash, $20 for the family walk (family pricing available) and $30 for the 5K, rising to $35 from November 21. Registering by November 8 guarantees a 2026 race T-shirt, and medals go to the fastest 5K runner in each age category. A virtual version can be completed any time from November 21 to 28 using the RaceJoy app. Proceeds support the school.
