About this adventure

The Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot marks its 10th year on the Sunday after Thanksgiving with a 10K, a 5K, a two-mile fun run/walk and an 800-meter Li'l Elves Kids' Run, all starting at Delaware Valley University. Organizers bill it as Bucks County's largest turkey trot and a family-friendly holiday event: every runner and walker gets jingle bells for their shoelaces, costumes and ugly holiday sweaters are encouraged, and there are prizes for costume categories. The kids' run goes off first at 10 am, so young children can finish and then cheer on parents in the longer races. Registration, packet pickup, bathrooms and the costume contest can move indoors if it is cold, and the after-party has a DJ, hot chocolate with whipped cream and food. Finishers receive a medal. The race sold out in 2025, so register early; proceeds go to the Bucks County Opportunity Council.
