About this adventure

The Reindeer Romp is an afternoon holiday 5K and 1-mile walk at Haverford High School in Havertown on Saturday, December 12, with the 5K starting at 3 pm and the walk at 3:05 pm. Registration through December 11 is $40 for adults 21 and over and $20 for anyone under 21, and race-day entry is $50 and $30. The entire registration fee goes to the American Cancer Society, so there are no refunds. Long-sleeve cotton shirts, in adult sizes only, are guaranteed to everyone who registers by December 5. Packet pickup is Friday, December 11, from 4 to 7 pm at Nolan Painting, 181 W Hillcrest Ave, or at the high school from 2 to 3 pm on race day. Age-group winners take home the race's glass mug, and the race awards the Brandon's Cup trophy to a runner aged 14 or younger, which gives school-age runners something to aim for.
