About this adventure

The first annual Jingle Run brings a 5K run and a 2K Family Walk to the Borough of West Chester on the first Saturday of December. The short family walk makes it easy to bring children along, while older kids and adults can run the 5K. Every registration supports the Care Center Foundation, which for more than four decades has provided subsidized daycare, early childhood education, after-school programs and summer camp for West Chester children from six weeks to 12 years old, along with meals and family services. It is a low-key, community-focused way to start the holiday season downtown. Registration closes November 20, so families should sign up ahead; the event starts and ends near 10 Church Street in the borough.
