The West Chester Railroad's Santa's Express is a 75-minute round trip through the Chester Creek Valley aboard a heated, decorated train. Santa greets passengers at Market Street Station in West Chester, then rides the whole way, visiting every passenger individually while the train is moving, posing for family photos and handing out goodies, so children should bring their wish lists. Holiday entertainment plays on board, and snacks and warm drinks can be bought. The train runs 30 minutes to Glen Mills, stops there for 15 minutes (a restroom break; Santa stays aboard) and returns in 30 minutes. Departures are at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm, with no 5 pm train on November 21 and 22. Table Car tickets add a private table and a live musician performing in that car. Arrive at least 20 minutes early to park and pick up tickets.
