About this adventure

CCD's Holiday Race for Recovery 5K is a family-friendly walk/run through the streets of Historic New Castle on Sunday, December 13. Check-in begins at 9 am and the race starts at 10 am. Holiday attire is encouraged, from ugly Christmas sweaters and Santa hats to elf ears and jingle bells, and the organizers invite people to gather friends, family and coworkers and walk or run as a team in support of their recovery cause. Registration is $30 through November 6, $35 from November 7 to December 12 and $40 on race day. Sign up by Monday, November 23 to guarantee one of the custom race shirts. With a walking option and a festive dress code, it suits families who want a short holiday outing through the historic town center.
