The day before Thanksgiving, the Delaware Nature Society's Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin hosts a 90-minute morning program on wild turkeys for children. Kids learn how wild turkeys live and find out who is the best gobbler in the family, then make a turkey centerpiece to take home for the Thanksgiving table. The program runs from 9:30 to 11 am on Wednesday, November 25, and costs $25 with a member discount. Register through the society's ticketing page.
