Upcoming dates: Mon, Nov 16 · Tue, Nov 17
Educators from Tyler State Park and the Southampton Free Library lead a seasonal story walk for children ages 3 to 5 and their adults. In November the story is Little Acorn: the group takes a short walk, reads the book outdoors, learns about the park's trees, collects leaves and talks about how animals use trees. The same program runs twice, on Monday, November 16 from 1 to 2 pm and on Tuesday, November 17 from 10 to 11 am. It is free, but pre-registration is required; registration opened October 16 and closes at 5 pm the day before each stroll. The meeting spot changes each month and is shared with registered families. Some trails may be muddy and not stroller friendly.
