About this adventure

The cfsbank Event Center in Belle Vernon, the Mon Valley ice arena long known as the Rostraver Ice Garden, holds a Skate with Santa session on the Saturday before Christmas week. Families skate together on the arena's NHL-size rink for an hour and a half while Santa joins the session, and there are chances to have photos taken with him on the ice. The ticket price covers skate rental, so children who do not own skates can come without extra cost, and the late-morning time works well for younger skaters. Registration is online through the arena's booking system, and the arena notes that pre-registering online can save money compared with paying at the rink.
