Cost

General admission: Adult (14+) $22.50; Senior (63+) $20.50; Youth (3-13) $15.50; Infant (under 3) free (tickets required for all ages). OMSI for All: up to four general admission tickets at $8 each for people receiving EBT, SNAP, WIC, TANF or Medicaid/OHP. Submarine, planetarium and theater are separately ticketed.Discounts via OMSI for All; Blueback submarine not accessible to wheelchairs/strollers (steep stairs).

Portland's science museum on the east bank of the Willamette. General admission covers the Nancy Stueber Natural Sciences Hall, Science Playground, Turbine Hall + Curium and staffed labs (Chemistry, Paleontology, Life Lab and the Discovery Lab for ages 0-6 with their families; The Mezz for ages 13-18). The Physics Lab is closed for an update September 8 through November 14, 2026. Ticketed extras not included in admission: USS Blueback submarine tours (45 minutes, every 20 minutes while the museum is open; visitors must be ages 3+ and at least 36 inches tall), Kendall Planetarium and Empirical Theater shows. Regular hours September 8, 2026 – June 13, 2027: closed Mondays (some exceptions), Tue–Fri 9:30 am–5:30 pm, Sat 9:30 am–7 pm, Sun 9:30 am–5:30 pm. Parking $5 for 2 hours or $8 all day (+ fees); the OMSI / SE Water Ave station serves MAX, bus and Portland Streetcar.
